SEG Solar’s Houston Module Plant Nears Completion

Final Installation Phase Underway

SEG Solar is making significant strides toward the commissioning of its state-of-the-art module manufacturing plant in Houston, Texas. The factory’s production line equipment has been delivered and is now in the final stages of installation and debugging, signaling that the company’s US plant is nearing its official launch.

Expansive Facility with Advanced Capabilities

The Houston facility, spanning nearly 250,000 square feet, will accommodate production workshops, raw material warehouses, finished goods warehouses, administrative offices, and supporting infrastructure. It features two intelligent manufacturing lines designed to produce the latest N-type high-efficiency PV modules, with an impressive annual production capacity exceeding 2GW.

Strategic Move for US Market Presence

“The Houston plant is a key part of SEG’s strategy to serve the US market,” commented SEG CEO Jim Wood. “Thanks to the strong support from our employees and partners, the construction of the plant has progressed smoothly. With new workshops, production lines, and equipment, SEG will shortly offer a refreshed experience to the US market.”
