Milwaukee Tool Launches Major Manufacturing Hub in Mississippi.

Expanding U.S. Operations

Milwaukee Tool announced the inauguration of its most substantial manufacturing facility in the United States, located in Grenada County, Mississippi. This marks the company’s eighth facility in Mississippi, significantly enhancing its manufacturing capacity and presence in the region.

The newly opened plant represents a major milestone as Milwaukee Tool’s largest U.S. facility and is set to employ over 800 individuals. This expansion is a strategic part of the company’s ongoing efforts to scale operations and meet the increasing demand for its innovative products. 

Investment in Technology and Talent

The facility, spanning over 500,000 square feet, has seen an investment of more than $60 million. It features advanced manufacturing technology and will initially focus on producing the company’s acclaimed line of SAWZALL Blades, with plans to expand its product lines in the future.

Scott Griswold, Group President of the Professional Accessories Business Unit at Milwaukee Tool, emphasized the strategic importance of the new facility. “Our rapid growth continues to accelerate, and this new facility in Grenada plays a crucial role in maintaining our trajectory of excellence in serving our distributor and user partners,” he stated. Griswold also highlighted the critical role of local talent, attributing the company’s success to its exceptional workforce and unique corporate culture.
