Embraer Announces $70 Million Investment in Texas MRO Facility.

Expansion to Create 250 New Jobs and Boost E-Jet Support

Embraer has unveiled plans to invest up to $70 million to expand its U.S. maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services with a new facility at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. This initiative will create around 250 new aviation jobs to support the growing number of Embraer E-Jets in operation.

Operations are slated to begin in early 2025 within an existing hangar, with a second hangar expected to be completed by 2027. The new facilities will increase Embraer’s capacity to serve E-Jets customers by 53% across the U.S.

Strategic Partnership with Local Authorities

The Fort Worth service center will join Embraer’s global network of 80 authorized centers and 12 owned service hubs. Embraer worked closely with the City of Fort Worth, Denton County, and the State of Texas to bring the project to life. The Fort Worth City Council has already approved key incentives for the initiative.

Carlos Naufel, President and CEO of Embraer Services & Support, emphasized the importance of this expansion, stating, “We are thrilled to move forward with this critical investment in the U.S. market. This new service center will generate hundreds of skilled jobs and strengthen our long-standing partnership with Texas.”

Local Leaders Applaud Embraer’s Decision

Robert Allen, President and CEO of the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership, expressed his excitement, saying, “This project highlights Fort Worth’s strong aerospace and defense sector. We’re eager to see the positive impact on our community and industry.”
